Job Title: Independent Manufacturers Representative – Heavy Duty & Automotive Aftermarket (Northern California)
Company Overview We are a manufacturers rep agency representing high-quality manufacturers serving the heavy-duty truck and automotive aftermarket industries. We are seeking a motivated, independent manufacturers representative to expand our market presence and drive sales across Northern California.
Position Summary As an Independent Manufacturers Representative, you will act as our exclusive sales partner in your territory. You will promote and sell our represented product lines to distributors, dealers, fleets, repair shops, and other aftermarket customers. This is a 100% commission-based opportunity with strong earning potential for a self-starter who has deep industry relationships and a proven track record in the heavy-duty and automotive aftermarket sectors.
Territory Northern California (must reside in the territory – ideally based in the Bay Area, Sacramento, or surrounding regions for optimal coverage).
Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow sales within the assigned Northern California territory Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers (distributors, jobbers, fleets, heavy-duty truck dealers, and automotive aftermarket accounts)
Present our represented product portfolio and demonstrate value to customers
Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets Provide market feedback and competitive intelligence to the agency Manage all aspects of the sales process independently (quotes, follow-up, order processing coordination)
Qualifications
Must live in Northern California
Proven experience selling in the heavy-duty and/or automotive aftermarket industries (minimum 3–5 years preferred)
Established relationships with aftermarket accounts in the territory is a strong plus
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (significant travel within the territory required)
Ability to successfully pass a background check
Compensation
Competitive commission structure with no cap on earnings

Full training on product lines and ongoing sales support
This is an independent contractor (1099) position.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
