About Us
We are seeking reliable and skilled Truck Drivers to join our growing horse transportation team. We provide a variety of local, regional, long distance, and international transportation. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers (manual and automatic transmissions) and goosenecks. This role involves delivering horses and equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. A strong commitment to safety and customer service is essential. Full time and Part time positions are available. Horse experience is preferred, but not a requirement. On-site training can and will be provided.
Job Summary
- Job is based out of Brewster, NY
- We ship show horses local, regional, long distance & internationally.
- Horse experience is a plus but not a requirement as you will be paired and trained by a Professional horseman.
- Starting Salary 85,000 to 90,000. (Depending on experience)
- 2 weeks PTO after 6 months
- 3 paid sick days
- Push Bonus($1,500) twice a year (after completing our busy seasons)

Requirements
- Driving 2 years minimum
- CDL-A
- Can work in the US
- Ability to lift 50lbs
Duties
- Operate a variety of trucks, including manual transmission vehicles, automatic transmission vehicles, and gooseneck vehicles.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of horses and equipment.
- Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays encountered during route driving.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and customer service.
Skills
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles.
- Familiarity with horses, handling and general care.
- Strong understanding of equipment and handling procedures and load securing techniques.
- Ability to navigate various routes efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with dispatchers and customers.
- Capability to perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading freight.
