Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Strength and Conditioning Coach to elevate athletic performance and promote overall fitness excellence. In this role, you will design and implement personalized training programs, motivate clients to achieve their health goals, and ensure safe, effective workout sessions. Responsibilities
- Develop tailored workout plans based on clients’ goals, fitness levels, biomechanics, and physiology insights
- Lead engaging group fitness sessions and one-on-one training to enhance strength, endurance, and mobility
- Monitor clients’ progress regularly, adjusting programs to optimize results and prevent injury
- Educate clients on proper body mechanics, heavy lifting techniques, and injury prevention strategies such as manual handling and first aid procedures
- Foster strong client relationships through effective communication, motivation, and personalized coaching approaches
- Ensure safety standards are maintained by operating AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), CPR certification, and adhering to liability insurance requirements
- Collaborate with other fitness professionals to create comprehensive program designs that incorporate nutrition advice and health club best practices
Experience
- Proven sports coaching experience with a strong background in biomechanics, anatomy, and physiology
- Demonstrated success in personal training or fitness industry roles with a focus on strength conditioning and program design
- Experience teaching physical education or group fitness classes that promote motivation and engagement
- Knowledge of fitness sales techniques to support client retention and membership growth
- Familiarity with health club operations, gym equipment handling, heavy lifting safety protocols, and customer service excellence
- Certifications required include CPR/AED certification, first aid training, liability insurance coverage, along with specialized credentials in personal training or sports coaching
- Prior experience working with diverse client populations in a gym or health club environment is highly desirable
