Electrical Engineer- Cranston RI
Role: Looking for Electrical Engineers to work on design and test of Sonar Electronic Systems and Electronics Hardware for Navy ships & Submarines.
Title: Electrical Engineer
Company: Organization is looking for 2 Electrical Engineers anywhere from out of school to under 5 years of experience. They are an Electronics Manufacturer out of Cranston, RI specializing in design and manufacturing of Naval Sensors and Systems. More specifically, a leading supplier of tactical solutions for the US Navy Surface Ships and Submarine Sonar Systems.
Requirements:
· Knowledge of Real Time, Embedded Sonar Electronics System Design & Test (course work in college / internship)
· BS Degree (STEM – EE Degree)
· Experience with Electronics Hardware Design experience (Digital/Analog Data Acquisition applications, Schematic Capture, BOM’s, PCB Layout and Routing knowledge to direct a PCB designer).
· Ability to obtain a clearance (preferred cleared) & pass a full Background Check which includes a Drug Test.
Preferred:
· Acoustic experience
· Experience with Embedded Coding experience with Microcontrollers, Digital Signal Processors, and/or FPGA’s is a plus.
· Data Acquisition applications, schematic capture, BOM’s, PCB Layout, and Routing knowledge
· Navy experience / familiarity
· Torpedo experience would be a bonus.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
