Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and nurturing Infant Nanny to provide exceptional care for 9 month old in a safe and engaging environment. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a loving atmosphere that promotes healthy development, ensuring the safety and well-being of the child, and supporting their physical, emotional, and cognitive growth. The ideal candidate is energetic, attentive, and passionate about early childhood care, with a strong commitment to creating a positive experience for both children and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care to infants, including feeding, changing, and soothing as needed
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote developmental milestones in areas such as motor skills, language, and social interaction
- Prepare bottle and nutritious snacks tailored to infants’ dietary stages
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning duties related to childcare supplies and play areas
- Monitor infants’ health and safety at all times, including administering basic first aid when necessary
- Support parents with daily routines and updates on their child's progress and activities
Schedule
- Mondays - Fridays 3-6 PM
- Saturdays 9-5
- Flexibility appreciated if hours need to be slightly adjusted with notice. Ei: 2-6, 3-7
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with infants in roles such as nannying or daycare
- Knowledge of infant care practices including feeding schedules, diapering, sleep routines, and developmental activities
- Certification in first aid and CPR for infants and children is required
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks related to childcare areas effectively
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and team members
- Passionate about caregiving with a positive attitude and energetic approach to child development
