Director of Marketing
McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is your community medical provider, serving the Willamette Valley and its residents. Our 113-bed hospital offers inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, medical, surgical and emergency care. We are a family of caregivers offering care to our larger family — our community.
Job Summary:
- Supports the strategic objectives of the hospital and affiliated practices
- Develops and implements marketing plans
- Provides content and strategic direction, manages budgets, and gives final approval for all advertising projects
- Utilizes various technologies and planforms in the management of social media, collateral and online reputations responses
- Assists in the development of new programs and services
- Represents the hospital to the community
- Actively communicates and establishes relationships with community partners
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience managing media relations
- Experience managing projects, people and budgets
- Strong work ethic, self-directed, independent, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated experience working effectively and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to exceptional customer service
- Ability to handle multiple, high-priority tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in Marketing and/or Public Relations
- Healthcare experience is strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or administrative area required
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint required
- Familiarity with Adobe design products preferred
