Duties
- Install, test, and commission lighting systems in accordance with electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues related to lighting fixtures, wiring, and control systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and ammeters.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring and connections safely following NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and electrical safety procedures.
- Conduct routine maintenance on industrial motors, motor control equipment, and lighting fixtures to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams for accurate installation and repair work.
- Maintain compliance with electrical building codes, NEC standards, and NFPA 70 regulations during all phases of work.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other construction site equipment efficiently to complete tasks on time.
- Document all work performed through detailed reports, including troubleshooting steps taken and repairs made.
- Collaborate with construction teams on electrical system installation projects ensuring seamless integration of low voltage and high voltage systems.
- Adhere strictly to electrical safety procedures during all operations to prevent accidents or hazards on site.
Skills
- Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong background in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Extensive knowledge of high-voltage electrical wiring, motor control equipment, and industrial motor maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of Lutron system
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and electrical building codes applicable to construction sites.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers; power tools including drills; testing instruments like ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation control systems.
- Strong understanding of low voltage systems used in commercial electrical setups.
- Construction site experience with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
- Knowledge of electrical blueprint reading combined with construction experience for precise installations.
- Capable of performing high-voltage work safely while adhering to all relevant safety procedures.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
