We are seeking energetic and personable Waitstaff/Hostess to join our vibrant hospitality team! Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservation bookings using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Escort guests to their tables, ensuring proper seating arrangements and comfort.
- Handle guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information about menu options, reservations, and wait times.
- Manage restaurant reservation systems efficiently, updating waitlists and communicating wait times clearly to guests.
- Support food service staff by coordinating table turnover and assisting with guest requests to enhance overall guest relations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and dining area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist in managing POS systems during transactions, processing payments accurately through POS or Aloha POS systems.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential!
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle phone calls professionally and courteously.
- Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Micros POS or Aloha POS is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow efficiently.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and managing cash or card transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant operations is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain energetic during busy shifts; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
