Position Summary
QLS Transportation is seeking experienced Solo and Team Owner Operators to transport temperature-controlled pharmaceutical and specialty freight throughout the United States.
Our Owner Operators enjoy consistent freight, strong earnings potential, fuel discounts, and the support of an experienced operations team. This opportunity is ideal for professional drivers who take pride in maintaining high service levels while operating safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer in compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Transport temperature-controlled pharmaceutical and specialty freight throughout designated routes.
- Maintain proper temperature control and security requirements for all shipments.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and support personnel.
- Ensure on-time pickup and delivery performance.
- Maintain accurate logs and required documentation.
- Protect cargo integrity and comply with all customer-specific handling requirements.
- Operate in accordance with QLS safety, security, and service standards.
Minimum Qualifications Required
- Minimum 23 years of age.
- Current and valid CDL-A License.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 2 years verifiable over-the-road experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Clean criminal background.
- Ability to cross state lines throughout the continental United States.
- Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service.
Equipment Requirements
- Tractor model year 4 years old or newer.
- Equipment must meet all DOT inspection and maintenance requirements.
- Ability to operate refrigerated trailers preferred.
Compensation & Benefits Solo Owner Operators
- Estimated Average Weekly Gross Revenue: $5,500+, Miles 2200+
Team Owner Operators
- Estimated Average Weekly Gross Revenue: $11,800+, Miles 5200+
