Job Overview
Axis Coach is seeking dependable, professional, and customer-focused Airport Chauffeurs to join our team.
As an Airport Chauffeur, you will transport clients to and from airports, hotels, businesses, residences, and other destinations throughout New Hampshire and the Greater Boston area.
You will represent Axis Coach during every trip and are expected to provide safe, courteous, and reliable service while maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers between airports, hotels, businesses, residences, and other destinations
- Operate company vehicles, including luxury SUVs, passenger vans, shuttle vehicles, and other assigned vehicles
- Greet passengers professionally and assist with luggage and personal belongings
- Provide a smooth, comfortable, and pleasant passenger experience
- Monitor flight information, GPS directions, weather, and traffic conditions to help ensure timely pickups and arrivals
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, airport procedures, and company policies
- Complete vehicle inspections before and after each shift
- Promptly report any safety, maintenance, or mechanical concerns
- Maintain a clean and professional vehicle interior and exterior
- Accurately document trip details, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle condition
- Communicate clearly and professionally with passengers, dispatchers, chauffeurs, and office staff
- Safely lift and handle luggage weighing up to 50 pounds
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow schedules and detailed instructions
- Professional appearance and a friendly, courteous demeanor
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in traffic, delays, and stressful situations
- Comfortable driving in Boston, at Logan International Airport, Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, and throughout the surrounding areas
- Ability to use GPS, smartphone applications, and company transportation software
- Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
- Previous professional driving, limousine, shuttle, delivery, hospitality, or transportation experience is preferred but not required
- Commercial driving or passenger transportation experience is a plus
Compensation
Pay includes an hourly wage plus customer gratuities.
