We are looking for passionate, dependable, and hardworking Line Cooks to join our opening team.
Position Summary
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing menu items with consistency, urgency, cleanliness, and attention to detail in a high-volume kitchen environment. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the quality and standards of the Level culinary experience.
Successful candidates thrive under pressure, communicate effectively, and take pride in teamwork and execution.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain consistency, quality, and speed during service
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure proper food handling, labeling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout shifts
- Communicate clearly with chefs, kitchen staff, and FOH team members
- Assist with prep work, cleaning, and closing duties
- Follow all health department, safety, and company standards
- Work efficiently during high-volume service periods
- Support teammates and contribute to a positive kitchen culture
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of line cook experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
- Strong knife skills and understanding of kitchen operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and game days
- Food Handler Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
