Summary
A local manufacturer in Johnson Creek is looking for experienced Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support manufacturing operations, troubleshoot production issues, maintain equipment, and drive continuous improvement. This role is ideal for someone with a strong machining and manufacturing background who can work cross-functionally to improve cycle times, uptime, throughput, quality, and overall process performance.
Salary Range: $62,400–$79,040 annually, based on experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Train manufacturing employees in processes and procedures.
- Troubleshoot processes, material, equipment, and quality issues.
- Complete and document routine maintenance on manufacturing and test equipment.
- Support fixture design, cutting tool selection, CNC programming, and PPAP runoff.
- Identify root causes and implement solutions that improve cycle time, uptime, throughput, and waste reduction.
- Support cross-functional continuous improvement projects to reduce variation and meet customer expectations.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, customer focus, and Quality Management System effectiveness.
- Apply working knowledge of machine tools, cutting tools, and manufacturing best practices.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience with CAD and CAM software.
- Strong mathematical skills, including statistical methods.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to complete reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
- Strong manufacturing and machining background.
