Our goal is to prepare students for life beyond high school by promoting interaction with people of other cultures, by making connections to other disciplines, and by using authentic materials and tasks to prepare learners for authentic language experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program that guides and encourages students to develop proficiency and fulfill their academic potential.
- To integrate technology to develop students' media and digital literacies.
- To differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learner styles and abilities.
- To collaborate meaningfully with colleagues for the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
Other duties as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid New Jersey teaching certification: Teacher of Spanish
- Fluent in instructional technology
- Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compliance with the NJ FIRST Act
- Successful Criminal History Clearance
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization
- Other qualifications of academic, professional, and personal excellence as specified by the Franklin Township Board of Education
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bilingual/Multilingual
Master’s degree in education or related field

COMPENSATION
In accordance with the provisions of the BOE/FTEA collective bargaining agreement, the salary range for this position for the 26/27SY is Step 1 BA/BS ($68,023) - Step 18 PhD/EdD ($99,380). Compensation will be commensurate with experience and education.

ANNUAL EVALUATION: Performance is reviewed annually in accordance with NJ State law and the provisions of the Board of Education policy on evaluations for certificated staff.
TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited Google Suite, IEP software program and Genesis Employee Portal and Student Information System.
