Job Summary
We are seeking a Spanish-English bilingual Medical Assistant / Procedure Assistant $26+/h to join our interventional pain management clinic. This position includes patient rooming, vital signs, front-office support, procedure prior authorization, and assisting with fluoroscopy-guided procedures, requiring operating heavy C-arm fluoroscopy machine. Training will be provided.
The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills to ensure a smooth and efficient office operation. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality patient care while developing valuable experiences in medical office management.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a positive first impression of the practice
- Rooming patient (check vital signs)
- Assisting interventional procedure with fluoroscopy ( we will train)
- Procedure prior authorization ( we will train)
Skills
- Prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette
- Comfortable with hands-on clinical work and assisting with procedure room setup, able to safely move and position procedure equipment, including the C-arm, with proper technique
- Ability to work efficiently with team
- SPANISH speaking is a MUST.
