Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS systems.
- Prepare food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and sanitation.
- Manage customer transactions at the cash register, including processing cash, credit card payments, and handling change accurately.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain a clean workspace by following sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling and kitchen cleanliness.
- Assist in stocking supplies, organizing storage areas, and ensuring all food safety protocols are followed.
- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as taking orders, serving customers, and processing retail sales transactions.
- Ensure quick service delivery by managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems preferred but not require.
- Experience in food preparation, cashiering, or retail sales transactions will set you up for success.
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Strong time management skills combined with excellent customer service abilities are necessary to thrive in this energetic environment.
- Basic math skills are required for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Prior kitchen or café experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; we provide comprehensive training to all new team members.
