Title: Medical Device Talent Acquisition Specialist
Position Type: 6 month contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need
Job Location: Remote
Shift: 1st Shift – Part-Time, 24 hours per week, some weeks may require 40 hours

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to lead full-cycle talent acquisition for technical, professional, and business-critical positions within a regulated medical device manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, building talent pipelines, partnering with hiring managers, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience while supporting organizational growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiting professional with strong sourcing expertise and experience hiring for engineering, operations, quality, regulatory, and other specialized roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including intake meetings, sourcing strategy, candidate outreach, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
- Develop targeted sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill positions using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, job boards, networking, referrals, industry events, and professional organizations.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Source, identify, and engage passive candidates within the medical device, life sciences, and regulated manufacturing industries.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience through consistent communication and professional engagement throughout the hiring process.
- Utilize recruiting metrics, market data, and talent intelligence to improve sourcing effectiveness and hiring outcomes.
- Support employer branding initiatives through social media, networking events, career fairs, and recruiting campaigns.
- Maintain job postings, applicant tracking system records, candidate documentation, interview scheduling, assessments, references, and recruiting activity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws throughout the recruitment process.
Preferred Experience
- Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, quality, operations, manufacturing, regulatory, commercial, or professional positions.
- Knowledge of recruiting within the medical device, life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated manufacturing industries.
- Experience building talent pipelines and successfully engaging passive candidates in competitive markets.
- Ability to interpret labor market trends and use recruiting data to improve hiring strategies.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for recruiting events, hiring activities, and stakeholder meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
- Demonstrated success sourcing and hiring specialized technical and professional talent.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, networking, and other modern recruiting tools.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
- Ability to build effective relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and business leaders.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
