Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Audio Video Technician to join our team. This role requires hands-on experience in AV installation, low-voltage systems, and network infrastructure, with a strong attention to detail and professionalism suited for high-end environments.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure:
- TVs, mounts, and media systems
- Distributed audio systems (e.g., Sonos)
- Surveillance cameras and NVR systems
- Network infrastructure (Cat5e/Cat6, racks, patch panels, access points)
- Perform structured cabling (attic, crawlspace, conduit, wall fishing)
- Terminate, label, and test all wiring to professional standards
- Assist with system programming, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Maintain clean, organized, and client-ready installations
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients on-site
Qualifications
- C-7 Low Voltage License or equivalent proven field experience
- Minimum 2+ years in AV / low-voltage / network installations
- Strong understanding of:
- IP networking basics
- Wi-Fi systems (UniFi, mesh systems, etc.)
- AV signal flow and system integration
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Professional appearance and communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Sonos system setup and tuning
- Ubiquiti UniFi systems
- Camera systems (NVR-based and cloud systems like Ring)
- Rack building and cable management in luxury homes
