Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team. Our office is open 8am-5pm M-Th, no Fridays or weekends. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional services. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures, knowledge of dental terminology, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Dental Assistant will ensure that all patient interactions are handled with professionalism and compassion while maintaining a sterile and organized clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment, and treatment areas for various dental procedures.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols.
- Record medical history, vital signs, and other relevant patient information accurately.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
- Utilize Dentrix/Dexis for efficient patient management.
- Utilize intraoral scanner for digital impression taking.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and managing the front desk as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members.

- Maintain Equipment and perform routine maintenance
- Maintain inventory of supplies and place orders when needed
- Management of lab cases being sent and received from various labs
- Be flexible and understand essential duties may change from time to time and must be a team player to "help out" in all areas of the office and lab.
Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour

Experience:
- Dental assisting: 2 years (Preferred)
