Maintenance & Grounds Technician
We’re looking for a dependable Maintenance & Grounds Technician to help keep our property clean, safe, and welcoming. If you enjoy hands‑on work, variety in your day, and making a visible impact, this role is a great fit. Hours may vary depending upon business needs.
What You’ll Do
- Clean and maintain interior areas including storage rooms, public spaces, banquet rooms, guest rooms, and parking lots
- Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs (switches, fuses, faucets, valves, etc.)
- Repair or replace parts on equipment such as vacuums, mowers, and small machinery
- Monitor and adjust pool chemicals to maintain proper sanitation
- Maintain outdoor grounds: mowing, trimming, planting, and landscaping
- Repair sidewalks and parking areas using asphalt, concrete, and patching materials
- Operate snow removal equipment to keep walkways and lots clear
- Paint, repair, or replace interior building surfaces
- Assist with moving furniture, unloading supplies, and setting up/tearing down event spaces
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests
- Follow safety procedures and help maintain a secure environment
Work Environment
- Moderate noise levels
- Exposure to mechanical equipment, electrical systems, chemicals, and outdoor weather
- Must be able to remain calm and effective during emergencies or unexpected situations
- 1–3 months of related experience or training (or equivalent)
- Ability to read and follow safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills
- Strong problem‑solving abilities
- Valid driver’s license; pool operator or HVAC certifications may be required depending on property needs
- Ability to lift/move up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
