Job Overview
We are Reagan Design & Construction. A small general contractor based in Knoxville, TN specializing in historic residential renovations, new custom homes, and commercial new construction. In this role, you will assist skilled tradespeople in building, repairing, and maintaining structures across various projects. Your enthusiasm and work ethic will contribute to safe, efficient, and high-quality construction sites. Responsibilities
- Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials and tools on-site to ensure smooth workflow
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, and ensuring safety barriers are in place
- Support carpenters, masons, electricians, and other tradespeople with their tasks as directed
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery safely under supervision to aid in construction activities
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure working environment for everyone on site
- Help with site cleanup at the end of each workday to keep the area organized and hazard-free
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and materials to ensure quality standards are met
Skills
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward collaborative work environments
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices and procedures
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and pay attention to detail
- Good communication skills for effective coordination with team members
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks on-site
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is a plus but not required; training will be provided
Requirements

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
