Professional Casework & Millwork is hiring a dependable Cabinet Shop Helper to join our commercial casework production team. We build cabinets, countertops, and architectural casework for general contractors, schools, healthcare facilities, offices, and commercial projects throughout Georgia.
This is a good opportunity for someone with construction, cabinet, countertop, carpentry, warehouse, or shop experience who wants to learn a skilled trade and grow with a commercial cabinet manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the fabrication and assembly of commercial cabinets, countertops, and casework.
- Read basic shop drawings, cut lists, labels, and measurements.
- Help operate or support shop equipment, including saws, drills, sanders, edgebanders, CNC machinery, and hand tools.
- Assemble cabinets, hardware, drawers, doors, panels, and finished end panels.
- Load, unload, move, and organize sheets, materials, hardware, and finished casework.
- Sand, clean, prep, and package completed parts for delivery or installation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop area.
- Follow instructions from shop leads, CNC operators, and project managers.
- Help keep projects moving on schedule.
Qualifications
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance are required.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Comfortable using basic hand tools and power tools.
- Able to lift and move cabinet parts, panels, and sheet goods.
- Cabinet shop, countertop, carpentry, construction, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and good attitude.
- Must be able to work safely, follow directions, and stay productive.
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
