Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for toddlers, supporting their developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to toddlers’ developmental needs
- Supervise and interact with children during play, learning activities, and mealtime
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom at all times
- Assist with diapering, feeding, and nap routines in accordance with health and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to support classroom management and curriculum planning
- Follow all licensing regulations and center policies related to childcare and early childhood education
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Certification in First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Background in special education or experience working with children with disabilities is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to handle behavior management effectively
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with children, parents, and team members
- Prior experience in childcare/preschool
- Passion for early childhood education, caregiving, and fostering a positive learning environment
- 15 ECE units (3 in Infant/Toddler units)
