Location: This is a full-time onsite opportunity based in Roseland, New Jersey, where you'll work closely with an accomplished legal team while building strong relationships with clients throughout the state.
Note: Candidates must be admitted to practice law in New Jersey and have 3+ years of directly relevant experience in municipal law and/or redevelopment law.

Job Description
- Advise municipalities, public entities, and private clients on municipal and redevelopment law matters.
- Counsel clients regarding public contracting, procurement, affordable housing, and public finance.
- Structure and negotiate redevelopment agreements and complex commercial transactions.
- Draft and negotiate contracts, ordinances, resolutions, redevelopment plans, and other legal documents.
- Provide legal guidance involving land use, tax incentives, and redevelopment financing.
- Attend municipal, redevelopment, and other public meetings, including occasional evening meetings.
- Manage multiple client matters while delivering exceptional legal analysis and client service.
- Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas on sophisticated public and private sector projects.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active New Jersey Bar license.
- 3+ years of municipal law and/or redevelopment law experience.
- Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Experience advising municipalities, public entities, developers, or related clients.
- Interest or experience in public finance is preferred.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently while working collaboratively.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
