Responsibilities & Expectations
-
Align workpieces properly on the hydroform machine according to setup instructions
-
Lubricate parts as specified in work instructions
-
Operate the hydroform press to perform required forming operations
-
Monitor pressure gauges and height settings to ensure correct parameters are maintained
-
Perform dimensional and visual inspections of parts to confirm compliance with customer specifications
-
Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
-
Conduct routine preventive maintenance on assigned presses within required timeframes
-
Ensure all preventive maintenance is completed according to the established PM schedule

Use precision measuring tools such as:
-
Micrometers
-
Dial calipers
-
Indicator gauges
-
Radius gauges
-
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications and Education Requirements
-
High School Diploma or equivalent required
-
Must be at least 18 years old
-
U.S. citizenship or valid Permanent Resident status is required due to the nature of work performed
-
Minimum 4 years of hydroform press operation experience
-
Experience in the aerospace industry is a strong plus
-
Proficient in basic math: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
-
Capable of setting up hydroform presses independently

Able to run hydroform presses without limitations
-
Understand and adjust forming pressures as required
-
Able to change diaphragms in hydroform machines
-
Proficient in reading and interpreting aerospace blueprints
-
Experience operating circle and square shears
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment
-
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy

Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills
-
Maintains a positive attitude and strong work ethics
Physical Requirements
The physical requirements of this position include but are not limited to those listed below.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, writing and typing

Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds

Occasional reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, grasping, twisting, bending and repetitive motion

The ability to wear proper personal protective equipment, including earplugs, safety glasses, safety shoes, etc.
