Ranch work. Domestic birds care, Cattle care
Responsibilities you
- 8am - Open Aviary
- Open Aviary and then chicken coop. Feed chickens grain and check waters
- Give Fresh water and food dishes in the morning to the four Domestic Birds in cages.
- Follow the feeding guides by kind of food that day and quantity.
- Clean bowls and add to dishwasher which can be used for the evening.
- Washdown floors with pressure washer.
- Get horse feed and cattle cubes for calves ready and take to front pasture for next morning. Work with my husband on ranch work for that day. Like fencing, spraying, mowing or helping him with his workload. Before end of the day replace Domestic Birds water with fresh bowls and taking out food bowls if finished. Check aviary and close doors for the night.
- Put up chickens for the night Check to see they have water.
All prospective employees must have up-to-date background ck and drug test
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6.0 – 8.0 per week
Application Question(s):
- Lives close to work location preferred. No alcohol use while at the ranch property and agrees no Drug used while on ranch property. Agrees to Periodic drug testing to be done. At least three references two being work referenced up to date. No felonies and agrees to yearly background testing. Has your owned vehicle for work. Show a list of skills for the job.
- 2026 Drug test verification and background check available. No alcohol abuse. Will produce periodic current background checks.
- We will not employee non US citizens. Clean and current background checks. Ever been jailed for an offense? Do you have Proof of US citizenship?
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Ranch and animal care: 2 years (Required)
