Modern Digital Designs is looking for a dependable and trustworthy Print Shop Operator to join our growing team.
This is a quiet, private office environment where you'll often work independently. We're looking for someone who enjoys staying busy, takes pride in quality work, and wants a stable, long-term part-time position.
No previous printing experience is required.
We are happy to train the right person.
Schedule
- Part-time
- Approximately 3 days per week
- Flexible scheduling available
- Ability to create a consistent weekly schedule that works for both you and the company
- Occasional opportunities for additional hours during busy seasons
What You'll Do
- Print customer orders using professional wide-format printers
- Package and prepare orders for shipping
- Operate paper cutters and other finishing equipment
- Perform quality checks before orders are shipped
- Keep the production area clean and organized
- Assist with inventory and supplies
- Help troubleshoot minor printing issues after training
- Optional: Deliver local customer orders (higher pay available for employees willing to assist)

- Reliable and punctual. We ship time sensitive orders for weddings birthdays and other events. We need someone who can consistently be present
- Able to maintain a consistent work schedule
- Honest and trustworthy. We print for many different companies and their designs must be kept in confidence

- Willing to learn new skills. Our products often change to meet customer needs
- Someone looking for a long-term position
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
Confidentiality
Because we develop original products and work with customer information, employees are expected to maintain strict confidentiality regarding company processes, artwork, customer information, business operations, and intellectual property. Respect for confidentiality and professionalism is an important part of this role.
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with printers or production equipment
- Shipping experience
- Etsy, eCommerce, or warehouse experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (for optional local deliveries)
