Responsibilities
- Detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are maintained.
- Conduct regular patrols of the venue’s interior and exterior areas to identify potential security risks or hazards.
- Control access points, check IDs, verifying identities and managing guest entry in accordance with venue policies.
- Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, utilizing conflict de-escalation techniques to resolve issues peacefully.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting any security concerns, accidents, or unusual activities observed during shifts.
- Assist in emergency response procedures including fire safety, AED operation, CPR administration, and first aid when necessary.
- Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when required for equipment or supplies while maintaining safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of surveillance technology including CCTV systems and access control systems.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with emergency response procedures are highly desirable.
- Ability to handle conflict management situations with professionalism and calmness under pressure.
- Strong physical security skills, incident report writing, and performing background checks when needed.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly yet vigilant demeanor to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely; physically fit with stamina for long shifts.
- Security License and Dallas Law Training are required.
