Facilities Manager
Location: Fremont, CA
Salary: $160,000 per year + benefits
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a Semiconductor research and manufacturing facility in Fremont, CA. This role will be responsible for managing engineering services, ensuring a high standard of service delivery, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing or R&D facilities management, strong leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of building services, including maintenance and vendor management.
- Manage 10+ direct reports, providing leadership, guidance, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance of critical building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- Manage vendor contracts and service agreements to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to address facilities-related needs and support business operations.
- Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring cost-effective management of resources.
- Implement sustainability initiatives and operational improvements.
- Respond to and resolve facility-related issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in facilities management within a engineering environment.
- Experience managing direct reports and working with external vendors.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
