Key Role Overview
- Part time, supplemental position supporting after-school and evening programming.
- Focus on student supervision, engagement, and safe program delivery.
- No lesson planning required; works under Clubhouse Director
- Requirements: Teaching certificate, bachelor's degree, or experience as a youth development aide.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide positive role modeling and maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
- Support prevention, enrichment, leadership, and supplemental activities and lesson presentations.
- Actively supervise students during all activities (indoor/outdoor).
- Assist with serving meals and clean-up.
- Student check-in/check-out (parent contact required).
- Monitor student well-being and report concerns to Director (follow accident/injury procedures).
- Maintain safe, clean, organized, and program-ready spaces.
- Serve as a mandated reporter and follow all policies.
On-Duty Priorities
- Execute structured programming and activities.
- Engage students through mentoring and academic support.
- Maintain program environment and space readiness.
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical conduct.
- Maintain professionalism with students, families, and staff.
About Serve South's Clubhouse Camden (Formerly Camden Connection)
Serve South is a nonprofit organization built to strengthen our community by encouraging the development of healthy, happy, and productive citizens. With a network of community partners, we evaluate the specific issues Camden County families are facing and create strategies for addressing local need on the local level.
Clubhouse Camden provides teenagers with an encouraging environment to engage with peers and learn positive life skills. Clubhouse Camden provides daily, evidence-based substance prevention lessons as well as various additional services, including academic support, tutoring, job-readiness training, family events, and recreational activities. The Clubhouse is designed to provide support and empowerment to the youth in our community and nurture personal growth, education, and community engagement among young people.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
