Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have experience in classroom instruction, motivation, and management. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for students while fostering their academic and social development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement and deliver engaging prescribed lesson plans provided without deviation that meet educational standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Effectively manage classroom behavior to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
- Supervise the learning environment during standardized testing, evaluate student progress, and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance, behavior, and any concerns to maintain strong partnerships in student success.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during school hours.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience for all students.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest educational practices and methodologies.
- Maintain daily classroom organization, cleanliness, and preparation to create a conducive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in classroom instruction, motivation, and management.
- Strong knowledge and experience in lesson plan delivery and implementation.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to adjust lesson plans based on students’ needs, ensuring lessons are engaging, challenging, age-appropriate, and aligned with curriculum standards.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures is a plus.
- A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds in a private school setting.
- Proficiency with the Google platform, including Google Classroom, Meets, Forms, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Practice Sets.
- Responsible for taking daily attendance and maintaining accurate records.
- Florida Certification preferred but not required.
