Service Manager – SoSo Cycles
Job Summary:
The Service Manager plays a key leadership role in delivering exceptional customer experience while ensuring the profitability, efficiency, and reputation of the service department at SoSo Cycles. This position requires hands-on management of personnel, service workflow, and customer relations, all while embodying the values of professionalism, honesty, and excellence associated with the BMW Motorrad, Triumph, and Ducati brands.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage all service department staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance reviews, and mentoring.
· Oversee daily service operations to ensure quality control, customer satisfaction, and timely service completion.
· Handle service writing duties as needed, including motorcycle inspections, repair orders, customer communications, and warranty claims.
· Monitor service department metrics to optimize profitability, reduce costs, and meet company goals.
· Maintain a professional work environment and ensure a clean, organized, and customer-ready facility.
· Collaborate with sales and parts departments to support cross-functional operations and customer retention.
· Stay current on OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) training and ensure staff certification requirements are met.
· Promote and uphold company standards and federal/state laws regarding repairs and customer protection.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; OEM service or technical certifications (BMW Motorrad/Ducati/Triumph) preferred.
· Previous service management or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
· Technically knowledgeable or trainable on OEM product lines.
· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
· Professional demeanor and excellent customer service abilities.
Compensation & Schedule:
This is a full-time, on-site position with earnings potential between $90,000–$120,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications and performance. Standard work hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
