Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service, managing orders efficiently, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining quality standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Provide excellent guest services by building rapport with customers and addressing their needs effectively.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy periods.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer relations and hospitality.
