We are offering a great opportunity for a full-time Licensed Children’s Clinical Services Manager.
Responsibilities
This position provides clinical and administrative oversight for all Children’s Mental Health Outpatient programs, including the Court Service Unit (CSU) Program, Child and Adolescent Mental Health (MH) and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Outpatient Programs, Juvenile Corrections Treatment Program, and School-Based Services programs. This position oversees program operations, service delivery, and performance to ensure high-quality, accessible, and effective behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and their families. Ensures compliance with all applicable Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) licensing regulations, Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) Medicaid requirements, Children’s Services Act (CSA) policies and procedures, and other federal, state, and local regulations governing behavioral health services.
Required Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in a human services or related field required
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience providing clinical services and supervision to youth with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) and/or adolescents at risk for substance use disorders is required
- Must hold an active license as a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) through the Virginia Department of Health Professions (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
- Must be able to supervise Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs) or be able to obtain that certification within 45 days of hire
- Valid VA driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Preferred
- Five (5) years of experience providing clinical services and supervision to youth with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) and/or adolescents at risk for substance use disorders
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of child and adolescent development, DSM, trauma, etiology and nature of Serious Emotional Disturbance and Substance Abuse in children and adolescents
- Skills providing individual, group, family, case management, crisis intervention and stabilization, consultation, education and coaching services for parents, teachers, etc.
- Clinical skills delivered with sensitivity to socio-economic, racial, ethnic, and gender of consumers
- Skills in clinical supervision, program development, and team building
- Knowledge of Comprehensive Service Act in Virginia and Medicaid services for children in Community Services Boards
- Program evaluation, quality assurance and utilization review
- Knowledge of federal and state laws, regulations, and agency policies governing documentation, recordkeeping, HIPAA compliance, confidentiality, mandated reporting, human rights, and ethical service delivery
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry report will be required upon selection. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.

$80,288.00 - $93,670.00
