Field Operations & Project Coordinator (Entry-Level)
(Travel | Hands-On | Growth Opportunity)
About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable, motivated team member to support our commercial electrical projects—not as the electrician, but as the person who helps make jobs run smoothly from start to finish.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll help with equipment handling, job site support, customer communication, and basic project coordination.
You’ll split time between the field and light office work, with travel required about 1-2 days per week, rarely overnight.
If you want to learn valuable skills, grow into a bigger role, and be part of real projects, this is a great place to start.
What You’ll Be Doing: In the Field
- Assist job sites by delivering, staging, and organizing materials/equipment
- Help move, load, and set up electrical equipment and supplies
- Support electricians and project leads (no electrical license required)
- Travel to job sites approximately 1-2 days per week, rarely overnight
- Keep job sites organized and running efficiently
Office / Coordination Tasks
- Help schedule jobs and coordinate project timelines
- Communicate with customers (phone, text, email)
- Assist with estimates, job notes, and basic paperwork
- Track materials and help order supplies
- Update job status, photos, and progress reports
Who This Is Perfect For
- Someone early in their career looking to learn and grow
- A hard worker who likes both physical work and problem-solving
- Someone interested in operations, project management, or sales
- A “get-it-done” person who doesn’t mind wearing multiple hats
What We’re Looking For
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Able to lift and move equipment (50–75 lbs)
- Comfortable traveling regularly
- Microsoft Office Suite proficient
- Good attitude and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
What You’ll Gain
- Real experience in commercial project operations
- Exposure to sales, project coordination, and field work
- Opportunity to grow into:
- Project coordinator
- Operations manager
- Sales / project hybrid role
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay is $20/hour but dependent on experience
- Raises based on performance and growth
- Mileage reimbursement or company vehicle if applicable
- SIMPLE IRA, Medical, and PTO.
