Job Description:
Warehouse Material Handler in the medical device field will perform various manufacturing tasks in support of company goals, guidelines, and regulatory requirements to produce components by assembling parts and sub-assemblies.
Duties:
- Conducts all functions of the receiving inspection processes for components and raw materials.
- Performs periodic inventory physical counts.
- Anticipates material needs and communicates to Management.
- Ensures all materials are stored in a safe and orderly manner.
- Carries out disposition for inspected parts.
- Ability to read and follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) and work procedures (WP).
- Ensures that the warehouse is in good housekeeping order.
- Perform spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
- Notify management of quality, process, or product discrepancy and equipment malfunction.
- Adhere to established company policies and procedures, paying special attention to safety regulations.
- Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure that products meet quality standards and reject product outside of specifications.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintain the cleanroom environment in accordance with established procedures.
