Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients with attention to quality and consistency
- Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to cook pizzas to perfection
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new toppings or specialty pizzas based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including food storage and preparation zones
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation standards
- Support food service operations by assembling orders quickly and accurately for dine-in or takeout customers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of hot, fresh pizzas during busy hours
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus but not required
- Proven culinary experience with a focus on pizza or fine dining environments preferred
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Experience in restaurant or kitchen settings within the food industry is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving guests
