We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team and ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
- Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, buffing, and applying appropriate floor care products to preserve their appearance and safety.
- Handle laundry duties including washing linens, towels, and uniforms efficiently while adhering to hygiene protocols.
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning supplies to ensure availability for guests and staff.
- Follow safety guidelines and proper cleaning procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment for all.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks during busy periods and maintain a high level of service quality.
- Ability to clean rooms in 30 minutes or less. You will be timed for performance and reviewed accordingly.
- Must be able to take criticism from upper management to better help you with room cleaning and times.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hospitality or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable for understanding guest expectations.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning efficiently.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools safely.
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks involving lifting or bending.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
