American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Infusion position requiring at least 2 years of Hem/Onc experience and a NJ or compact RN license.

Work in a Pediatric Infusion unit within a hospital setting
-
Patient population includes all types of childhood cancers and sickle cell patients
-
Patient ratio is 1:3
-
Performs phlebotomy including A-lines, central lines, and PICCs, as well as administering and monitoring chemotherapy and wound care
-
Charting is done in Epic
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
-
Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and holiday coverage required
-
May float to Pediatrics, Adolescent, PICU Stepdown, and other units based on skillset
-
13-week contract
-
Active NJ or Compact RN license required
-
Required certifications: BLS, PALS, and APHON
-
Minimum 2 years of Hem/Onc experience required; inpatient or outpatient experience accepted

Epic EMR experience required
-
Proficiency with PEWs and phlebotomy (A-lines, central lines, PICCs) required
-
Experience administering and monitoring chemotherapy required
-
Wound care experience required
-
BMT experience preferred
-
SSN and DOB required for consideration

Two current professional references required for consideration

Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
