Job Summary:
Mohr Air Conditioning & Plumbing is looking for a Location Manager to oversee HVAC field operations and help drive daily execution for service and install teams.
This is a hands-on leadership role that works directly with the Operations Manager. The Location Manager is responsible for helping the team follow company procedures, meet performance expectations, resolve customer concerns, and maintain a high standard of workmanship and service.
The right candidate will have strong HVAC field experience, a solid understanding of residential HVAC installs, good communication skills, and the ability to lead people with accountability. Prior management experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who has strong HVAC knowledge, leadership potential, and the right attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily HVAC service and install work at the assigned location.
- Ensure company procedures, best practices, safety standards, and customer service expectations are followed.
- Work with Dispatch to help assign the right technician to the right job.
- Help manage KPI goals, including conversion rate, average ticket, labor efficiency, material control, and customer satisfaction.
- Coach technicians and installers on technical skills, company processes, customer communication, and service standards.
- Assist with ride-alongs, field evaluations, and follow-up coaching.
- Help conduct regular one-on-one meetings with field employees.
- Assist with onboarding and training new technicians.
- Help resolve customer concerns and technical issues professionally.
- Communicate with the Operations Manager regarding field performance, staffing needs, customer concerns, and technician accountability.
- Monitor overtime while helping ensure customers are taken care of.
- Make sure equipment for change-outs is staged before installers arrive.
- Help ensure service technicians have the parts, information, and support needed to complete their jobs.
- Coordinate with warranty and quality assurance when additional support is needed.
- Backfill as a field technician or installer when needed.
What We Are Looking For:
- Strong HVAC field experience required, with a solid understanding of residential HVAC installs.
- Ability to recognize quality install work and identify areas that need correction.
- Prior leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of residential HVAC service and install operations.
- Ability to coach technicians and installers while holding team members accountable.
- Willing and able to learn and manage KPIs, revenue goals, conversion rates, average ticket goals, labor targets, and performance expectations.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well with dispatch, office staff, technicians, installers, customers, and upper management.
- Willingness to follow and enforce company processes and standards.
- Professional attitude and ability to represent Mohr Air Conditioning & Plumbing in the field.
- Ability and willingness to assist in the field when needed.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
