Timbercrest Construction Company is looking for a Skilled Carpenter to join our growing team.
This position is ideal for someone who has solid carpentry experience, enjoys solving problems, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to be part of a company focused on high-quality residential remodeling projects.
Our work includes home additions, whole-home remodels, kitchens, decks, exterior renovations, and custom carpentry projects. We're looking for someone who can work independently when needed, contribute positively to the team, and help us maintain the quality standards our clients have come to expect.
Pay & Benefits
- $27-$35 per hour based on experience and skill level

Responsibilities
- Perform finish carpentry on residential remodeling and addition projects
- Assist with framing, siding, decking, windows, doors, trim, cabinetry installation, and general remodeling tasks
- Read and follow project plans and specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site and trailer
- Communicate effectively with team members and homeowners when appropriate
- Ensure work is completed to Timbercrest's quality standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of carpentry or residential construction experience preferred
- Experience with finish carpentry strongly preferred, rough carpentry is a bonus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic hand tools and tool belt required (larger tools provided by company)
Work Location
Projects are primarily located throughout Lapeer, Oakland, Genesee, and surrounding counties. Daily reporting location varies by project.
