Job Title: Entry-Level Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
The Entry-Level Maintenance Technician assists with the general upkeep, cleanliness, and basic repair of the residential treatment center property. This role helps ensure the facility remains safe, clean, and functional for residents, staff, and visitors. The position involves a variety of routine maintenance tasks, grounds upkeep, and general labor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine property maintenance and general repairs.
- Pressure wash walkways, buildings, and outdoor surfaces as needed.
- Collect and dispose of trash and debris from buildings and grounds.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of outdoor areas, parking lots, and common spaces.
- Replace light bulbs and basic fixtures throughout the facility.
- Change HVAC air filters regularly.
- Assist with basic plumbing tasks, including pulling and reinstalling toilets when needed.
- Assemble furniture and move equipment or materials as required.
- Assist with painting walls, trim, and other facility areas.
- Help maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance storage areas in an organized condition.
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or repair needs to the supervisor.
- Follow all safety guidelines and facility procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of tools and general maintenance tasks is helpful but not required.
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- Experience with basic plumbing, painting, or property maintenance.
- Experience with pressure washing equipment.
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
Work Environment:
- Combination of indoor and outdoor work.
- Exposure to cleaning products, tools, and general maintenance equipment.
- May require occasional weekend or after-hours work depending on facility needs.
