This position requires independent inspection of building structures during construction to ascertain whether construction methods, practices, materials and workmanship conform to provisions of contracts, plans, specifications, regulations and standard methods of work. Candidate must have the ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician certificate. Candidate must also have additional appropriate ICC and/or ACI certifications (or ability to obtain); be able to keep detailed records of work completed and materials used; prepare and submit routine inspection reports as directed; and perform other related duties as assigned.
This position is responsible for inspecting one or more of the following with ICC & ACI Certifications:
- Concrete
- Reinforcing Steel & Prestressing Steel Tendons
- Structural Welding
- High Strength Bolting
- Structural Masonry
- Spray Applied Fireproofing
- Piling, Drilled Piers and Caissons
- Shotcrete
- Sheathed Shear Wall & Diaphragms
- Complete Load Path & Uplift Ties

Pay: $60,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
