Our school is looking for a Family Worker to join our staff of professionals. Our private childcare center partners with the Bogota Public School district to provide a high-quality preschool program. This is a 10 month position Sept. - June, M-F (10 hours per week.)
A Preschool Family Worker plays a vital role in ensuring that families have the support they need to thrive and that their children have a positive and successful preschool experience.
This individual must:
Have a basic understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices, be dependable and enjoy working with children.
Have the ability to communicate effectively with families from diverse backgrounds.
Be able to speak and read both English and Spanish to help us better serve our community.
Be able to address family needs and connect them with appropriate resources.
Have the ability to manage tasks, maintain records, and work efficiently.
