Summer BBQ Grill Cook (Seasonal, Full-Time)
Love cooking outdoors and working with people? Join the Murphy's Markets team this summer as one of our Seasonal BBQ Grill Cooks!
We're looking for friendly, dependable individuals to prepare and serve delicious grilled favorites at our outdoor BBQs throughout the summer. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in great customer service, and don't mind soaking up a little sunshine, we'd love to meet you!
Position Details
- Seasonal, Full-Time
- Outdoor cooking and customer service
- BBQ season begins around Memorial Day at all Murphy's Markets locations, ends around August/September (weather permitting)
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused attitude
- Experience operating a propane grill
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience safely preparing and handling a variety of meats, including beef, pork, and chicken
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Dependable, trustworthy, and enjoys working as part of a team
