Budtender Position
We’re looking for a sales-focused, energetic Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about cannabis, thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, and knows how to connect with customers to create exceptional experiences.
This role isn’t just about transactions—it’s about building relationships, educating customers, and driving sales. You’ll play a key role in guiding guests through their journey, ensuring they leave confident, informed, and excited about their purchase.
Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Guide customers in selecting cannabis products that best fit their needs, preferences, and budgets.
- Share product knowledge, including effects, benefits, and methods of consumption.
- Drive sales by upselling and recommending complementary products.
- Stay informed on new products, strains, and industry trends.
- Ensure compliance with all cannabis laws and regulations.
- Accurately process transactions through the POS system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor.
- Verify customer identification to ensure legal age requirements are met.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking and labeling products.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- Strong knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and their benefits (preferred but not required if willing to learn).
- A proven track record in sales or customer service.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, outgoing, and passionate about helping people.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
