We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Manager to join our team and lead our automotive repair shop to new heights.
Position Overview:
As a Manager at within our group, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our automotive repair shop. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the shop, maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service, and leading a team of skilled technicians. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can drive our shop's success and deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of automotive technicians, ensuring they meet performance standards and providing training and guidance when needed.
- Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
- Ensure that the shop maintains a safe and clean working environment, following all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Interact with customers to provide excellent service, address concerns, and build strong relationships.
- Handle customer inquiries, provide quotes, and explain repair procedures in a clear and friendly manner.
- Manage financial aspects of the shop, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary parts and equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technology, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of management experience in the automotive repair industry.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong technical knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in using computer software for shop management.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance.
- A valid driver's license.
