Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Paramedic to work at our urgent care in Down town Atlanta across from Centennial Olympic Park! We are under new management with a mindful approach to patient care and employee work-life balance. We have 2 full-time over night shifts positions 12am-8am. PRN shifts 12am-8am, 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am. 8 and 16 hour shift available as well. We are looking for candidates who are professional, detail oriented and have a patient centered approach to healthcare. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and triage to determine the urgency of care required.
- Administer basic life support and advanced life support measures as needed.
- Provide emergency medical treatment in accordance with established protocols, including medication administration and injections.
- Monitor vital signs and perform physical examinations to evaluate patient conditions.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
- Maintain aseptic technique during procedures and ensure proper documentation of patient care activities.
- Qualifications
- Valid Paramedic certification with relevant state licensure.
- Critical care experience preferred, along with hospital experience in emergency or urgent care settings.
- Familiarity with DME (Durable Medical Equipment) usage and patient care protocols.
- Previous EMT experience is highly desirable.
- Proficient in venipuncture techniques and medication administration practices.
- Strong understanding of emergency medicine principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining composure and professionalism.

Pay: $25.85 - $31.13 per hour
