Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and ethical bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Behavior Analyst who is board certified (BACB) or will be within 6 months, to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), a collaborative mindset, and a genuine passion for supporting youth and their families through trauma-assumed, person-centered care. This role involves conducting assessments, developing and overseeing individualized treatment plans, supervising clinical staff, and partnering with families and interdisciplinary teams to meaningfully improve quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee individualized, ethical, and trauma-assumed behavior intervention plans aligned with client goals and values.
- Monitor treatment fidelity and client progress through ongoing data collection and analysis; make data-based decisions to adjust programming as needed.
- Provide clinical supervision, training, and mentorship to RBTs and other support staff in accordance with BACB supervision requirements.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to ensure consistency and a holistic approach to care.
- Support caregivers through coaching, education, and compassionate partnership, honoring family systems and lived experiences.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA, funder requirements, and organizational policies.
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices, ethics, and emerging research in behavioral health and trauma-informed care.
Skills + Competencies
- Strong knowledge of behaviorism and the principles and ethical application of Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Experience or willingness to learn how to work with children and families who have experienced trauma at some point in their lifetime, with an interest in trauma-assumed or trauma-responsive care.
- Proficiency in data collection systems, visual analysis, and progress monitoring.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal (“soft”) skills.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with clients, families, and staff.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to ethical practice, cultural humility, and client dignity.
Qualifications
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing or will be in 6 months.
- Fluently speaks Spanish to support Spanish-speaking families
- Experience supervising RBTs and/or clinical staff preferred.
