The Resident Care Manager (RCM) is responsible for ensuring new residents achieve the proper level of assimilation. The RCM is also responsible for providing nursing care to the residents by ensuring all Electronic Health Records (EHR) are up-to-date, complete and accurate.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Graduate from an accredited, state approved RN program or school of nursing.
Licensure: Current MS RN license, MS 90-day temporary permit, or Compact state license.
Experience: One (1) year of clinical nursing experience.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact or educate residents. Ability to work independently as well as with a team. Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing functions in the long-term care facility. Knowledge of uses and operations of equipment and instruments used in patient care. Must be patient/customer service oriented, projecting professionalism and socio-economic and cultural sensitivity. Working knowledge of electronic medical records.
