Job Summary
The Educational Content Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality educational content that supports the Standard Process and WholisticMatters education ecosystem. This role advances practitioner, patient, and consumer learning by translating complex nutrition science, clinical concepts, product education, research insights, and health literacy information into clear, compelling, and actionable learning experiences. Content should support healthcare practitioner education, patient empowerment, consumer engagement, brand value, and the broader mission of helping audiences understand whole food nutrition and holistic health.
The ideal candidate combines instructional design, creative writing, visual communication, digital content development, and disciplined project management skills with a working knowledge of nutrition science and clinical nutrition education. This position plays a key role in developing curriculum, training materials, digital learning assets, presentations, patient and consumer education materials, WholisticMatters.com content, and practitioner-facing resources that align with Standard Process brand priorities, whole food philosophy, and education-driven growth strategies.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Design and develop educational content for healthcare practitioners, patients, and consumers, including curriculum, eLearning modules, facilitator guides, learner resources, webinars, presentations, patient education materials, consumer-facing resources, and product education materials.

Develop audience-appropriate educational content for WholisticMatters.com, including blogs, podcast concepts or scripts, video outlines, interview questions, supporting copy, and related digital education assets that highlight Standard Process expertise, whole food nutrition, clinical nutrition education, and holistic health topics.

Support the evolution of WholisticMatters as a digital education platform by developing content for healthcare practitioners, nutrition enthusiasts, patients, and consumers that strengthens engagement, supports practitioner-patient conversations, and connects education to Standard Process resources where appropriate.

Translate Standard Process research, product education, whole food philosophy, farm-based storytelling, clinical protocols, and nutrition science into educational assets that are practical, supportable, brand-aligned, and usable across practitioner education, digital education, sales enablement, and consumer learning channels.

Collaborate with clinical experts, product teams, marketing, sales, education, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather inputs, clarify learning goals, and develop aligned educational resources.

Partner with Standard Process Education, Marketing, Sales, R&D, Regulatory, and subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate, strategically aligned, compliant, and relevant to commercial priorities and audience needs.

Maintain the Standard Process Education On-Demand content library, deploying assets and asynchronous learning content across audiences.

Develop assessments for internal sales education learning paths and produce reports in support of enhanced sale competencies and professional development.

Apply instructional design principles to structure learning objectives, content flow, knowledge checks, activities, and application-based learning experiences.

Manage multiple content development projects from concept through launch, including timelines, milestones, stakeholder reviews, revisions, approvals, and final delivery.

Create visually engaging and professionally written materials that reflect Standard Process and WholisticMatters brand standards, learning best practices, and the needs of practitioner, patient, consumer, and internal audiences.

Organize, maintain, and update educational content libraries, source materials, training assets, and curriculum documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Support the development of scalable education programs that help healthcare practitioners integrate clinical nutrition concepts into practice.

Contribute to content initiatives that position WholisticMatters as a trusted source of holistic health, clinical nutrition, continuing education, patient education, podcasts, videos, and thought leadership that complement and extend the Standard Process brand.

Review and refine content for clarity, scientific accuracy, tone, grammar, learner engagement, and practical application.

Identify opportunities to improve learner experience, content usability, curriculum consistency, and education delivery across channels.
Qualifications
Education:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nutrition science, dietetics, health sciences, education, instructional design, or a related field required; advanced degree or clinical credential preferred.

Experience in clinical nutrition, integrative health, functional medicine, dietary supplements, practitioner education, healthcare education, or life sciences preferred.

Familiarity with whole food nutrition, holistic health, dietary supplements, practitioner education, patient education, and the role of nutrition education in clinical practice preferred.

Experience developing education for healthcare practitioners, clinicians, nutrition professionals, sales teams, or professional audiences strongly preferred.

Demonstrated ability to create written and multimedia educational content for patients and consumers.

Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum, training programs, educational campaigns, clinical tools, or product education materials from concept through completion.

Portfolio or examples of writing, curriculum design, presentation development, eLearning, visual education assets, podcast or video support, patient education materials, consumer content, or practitioner-facing resources preferred.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

Experience using curriculum-building, learning design, or eLearning development tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Canva, or similar platforms.

Proficiency with presentation and content creation tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and related Microsoft 365 applications.

Creative design skills that enhance learning, comprehension, and support brand recognition.

Experience working with learning management systems, content libraries, digital asset management platforms, or education delivery platforms.

Ability to build, format, and maintain educational templates, facilitator resources, learner guides, slide decks, and multimedia learning assets.

Experience developing or supporting digital content workflows for websites, blogs, podcasts, video, email, social media, continuing education, and multimedia learning channels.

Comfort using AI-enabled tools, content workflow systems, or project management platforms to support research, drafting, organization, and production efficiency.
